Save the Date & Pre-Wedding Photography in Scotland

Cinematic couple sessions shot against Scotland's most dramatic backdrops — built for the two of you, and for the announcement your guests won't forget.

Built for Scotland's landscapes

A save the date or pre-wedding shoot is one of the few sessions where the backdrop matters as much as the two of you in front of it. Scotland has some of the most dramatic scenery in the world for exactly this — and this session is built around finding the location that fits your story.

How it works

We start with a short call to talk through your story, your travel budget, and which of Scotland's landscapes fits best — Highlands, coast, or somewhere closer to Glasgow and Edinburgh. From there it's a relaxed, walk-and-shoot session, usually 1.5–2 hours, finished with a cinematic, film-inspired edit.

Frequently asked questions

Do you travel to the Highlands for save the date shoots?

Yes. Glencoe, Skye and other Highland locations are all available for the right project. Travel is discussed and agreed as part of your booking.

How far in advance should we book?

Save the date sessions are most popular in spring and summer, so booking 4–8 weeks ahead is recommended — especially for Highland locations where weather and light matter most.

What should we wear?

Simple, timeless outfits that won't compete with the landscape tend to work best. Happy to advise once we've picked a location.

Can you suggest a location, or should we choose one?

Either. I can suggest a spot to match your style and travel budget, or we can shoot somewhere that already means something to you.
